well done

I could be just shooting in the dark...this takes place in Toronto? (or Vancouver, both have alot of homeless) Well...beside the Canadian flag and the Canada Post box...there was the money (the 5 and 10 was blue, the 20 green...just like Canadian currency), the police car that drove by (I am sure that's the design for Toronto Metro Police) That's why I was thinking Toronto.

Also...am I mistaken...was that the A-Team van that drove by in the beginning?

Good movie though. I l enjoyed it.

go canucks!!

lolololol!

I loved it..was corny, but funny...and I loved the art style. Keep up the great work!

Ho ho ho!

Veeery Funny! Ho ho ho!

Seriously...I did like it...but one thing is...Santa and the elf stare forward all the time. When they address each other...they could exchange looks and/or their eyes move...and when Mrs. clause speaks, and he retorts back, he could look off camera...even have him roll his eyes when she bitches. Hand gestures and other things would be nice, cause they look stiff with the lack of movement (besides the mouths.) Reminds me of the talking celbraties on Conan O'Brien, where its a photo and the only part that moves is the mouth.

Good work though...I enjoyed it alot.

Maybe next year... for 2004's christmas Ill make a really better one.

Pepsi rules!

Lol...I loved it...and of course...am abit bias. :) I know coke drinkers that don't believe me that it used to have cocaine in it back in it's early days.

*shakes head*

Well...the graphics were ok, and the plot simple...the voices retarded....but i couldn't help but laugh. It was stupid...but humourious...and if I got a chuckle...i can't vote low.

awsome!

Finally someone made a flash on this song. I love listening to it this time of the year, and ya did a top-notch job at it.

Question..which clock is the one that had the inlaw verse (with the ears and tail and was white)? I seen her (assuming it's a her) in a few flashes lately.

rilstix responds:

That's Nef. And yes, it's a she.

Poor Link :)

This is freak'n awsome...and damn funny!! I just was in stitches...with the humour and the animation and expressions. Some of the voices were unclear, such as Navi and the scene with the opening door.

I vote 5 and score 10! Make one on Wind Waker next :)

fair to decent

First off...the sound could be better, and work at the animation and drawings. those are minor things, cause regardless...the joke is there and was funny. I think this was a good first flash.

Also..I agree with fellow reviewers...the Doughboy can't bleed, since he is after all, dough. But work with that knowlege. say the kid went to poke him to, and accidently does something to him, that could be baking related...like getting knocked into the oven (show the end scene as a baked up doughboy, or getting knocked over and getting done in by falling rolling pin and/or cokkie cutters.

Just some ideas. when you got a situation...look at that you are working with, and work with those elements. Adding blood may seem a common trend on here...but you don't want to insult the intelligence of your audience. You had enough smarts to present a funny joke...go with that. think outside the box, or at least bend the borders of the box, and not go by what others say you have to do to make a good flash (blood, gore, sex and violence) You could try to revamp this one and try another ending (perhaps have this ending as an alternate ending...like a feature shown in DVD movies.)

All in all...good job!

CaliginousChild responds:

Thank you. Perhaps once I get better with flash I will remake this. I was thinking about maybe having him fall into yeast or something like the oven.

Sweet

That was awesome! Colin is one of my favourite comedians from my homeland. I liked the whole presentation of the movie as well.

uh....

I must admit...i was both lost and confused...but also intriged and amazed. I had no idea what was transpiring....but I did enjoy it. Very good...very good indeed. heck...it was excellent!

Just tinkering with animation and trying out ideas, as well as my artwork and characters.
